The Coalition for Environmental Equity and Economics (CEEE) formed out a deep conviction that an an equitable transition to sustainable energy should accomplish two purposes:

1) Green energy projects and technologies need to have a significant net benefit to both the reduction of fossil fuel carbon emissions and the public health of environmental justice communities/

2) Green energy should provide communities with affordable clean energy options, significantly lower monthly utility bills, and improve local economic development.
